Ajaib is one of the most fast-paced companies I've worked at. If you enjoy solving problems quickly, and having a lot of ownership, it's a rewarding place. If you prefer structure, predictability, or a slower pace, it can be challenging.
People are trusted to own their work. You're expected to identify problems, propose solutions, and execute with relatively little hand-holding.
The bar is high, especially from the leadership. Discussions can be intense. Things move quickly.
Performance expectations are consistently high. Delivering your core responsibilities isn't always enough, you need to continuously improve processes, adapt, and keep up with changing priorities. Like many fast-growing startups, priorities can change quickly based on business needs.
There are periods where the workload becomes intense, especially around major launches or strategic initiatives. Teams often have ambitious goals while balancing limited resources. This requires prioritization, creativity, and occasionally making trade-offs.
The culture is ambitious, execution-oriented, and highly collaborative. People generally care about building good products and moving the business forward. Feedback tends to be direct, and discussions are usually centered around finding the best solution rather than hierarchy. There is a strong emphasis on accountability. Individuals are expected to take ownership, communicate proactively, and be transparent when challenges arise.
Pros•Great folks to work with
•Free lunch here and there
Cons•High pressure to excel
•Very fast paced and decision often change quickly
