The pay is really well. The tech is already really mature, most of things that needs to be done usually has been done before and there's already a good example for that, unless we're doing research. All the culture and engineering practices are already good. But it doesn't really matter how good our tech division are if the business team aren't doing so well. The CEO doesn't really have a good vision, failure after failure are just keep happening, and the recent mass layoff ate just brutal. I mean the company has a very long runway to work with their current cash, but it's just being mismanaged. So I just think that the motivation and morale to work on the product aren't really there anymore. But working for Bukalapak still has its perk , and one of best perks, especially the health insurance, there are no other Indonesian company that can come close and compared to it. Oh yeah, and it's really hard to get promoted because the new normal that everyone has been doing the same "extra mile" thing, so the management are saying that, that's our meet expectations now, you need to do more and more just to perform and be seen as exceeding expectations.
